Lots of pupils in Denbigh High love good food. But what is the difference between good food choices and poor ones? In this project pupils use nutritional information to help design and make a tasty pizza.

You have decided to make a pizza for your family. Design a pizza that is going to appeal to the whole family and meets the healthy eating guidelines.

Work hygienically and safely.
Make and shape dough using the rubbing-in
method.
Present survey results and show how you
have used them in your design.
Evaluate what you have done.
What you will learn and understand:
The importance of hygiene and safety when cooking.
Skills in the rubbing-in method.
How to carry out a survey and use the results to help your designing.
How to reflect on your work and decide what
went well.
