This card uses a combination of graphical techniques including rendering and digital scanning.
We are all surrounded by graphic products: books, magazines, posters, websites, television and in the latest computer games.
By learning about and working with materials we can become successful product designers ourselves.
Graphic design communicates ideas and messages. Visual statements in the form of pictures and words.
During this course pupils will design and make their own graphical product. Pupils will design and make a greetings card for a person of their choice. This course is intended as an introduction to basic graphical techniques and the design process. Pupils will develop essential skills within this project that they will develop in future projects throughout key stage 3 Design and technology at Denbigh High school.
